Host/Hostess

We are seeking a polished, personable, and detail-oriented Host/Hostess to serve as the first impression of our upscale dining experience. This role is essential in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while managing guest flow with grace and efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, luxury environment and is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality at every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a warm, genuine welcome and maintain a professional presence at all times
• Manage reservations and seating using OpenTable, ensuring optimal table flow and timing
• Escort guests to tables while providing thoughtful introductions to the dining experience
• Maintain an accurate waitlist and communicate wait times clearly and courteously
• Coordinate closely with management, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations, special requests, and guest inquiries
• Monitor the dining room to ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and guest satisfaction
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns with poise and urgency
• Uphold the restaurant's standards for appearance, etiquette, and service excellence

Qualifications

• Previous hosting or hospitality experience in an upscale or fine dining environment preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Can use OpenTable efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs as needed
