Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements to optimize the flow of service.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations with excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist guests with any questions or concerns regarding the menu or services offered.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest information effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest feels valued and appreciated.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding guest services.
