Position Purpose:
Greeting and escorting guests to tables in the restaurant, monitoring the restaurant and all associates, maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction. Monitor restaurant phone lines and provide guest service in accordance with Trump Hotel Las Vegas standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, then escort them to their table and present menu.

Read, maintain and make daily entries in the logbook to coordinate communication between shifts and management.

Participate in daily "pre-shift meetings" to keep informed of current promotions, daily specials, guest comments, daily events and pertinent memos.

Receive record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.

Assume role of restaurant or bar server when circumstances require.

Maintaining a clean and organized waiting area

Answering the phone

Directing guests to areas & restrooms

Providing security for co-workers, guests and celebrities

Assisting servers, bussers and managers

Performing opening, closing & side duties – cleaning glass, polishing brass, sweeping & vacuuming the floor, wiping menus, restroom maintenance, etc.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
EDUCATION
High School graduate required.
EXPERIENCE
Two years of minimum experience in field and bar service experience preferred. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Must be able to obtain a Health Card from the Southern Nevada Health District and a TAM Card
OTHER
Must be at least 21 years of age. Additional language ability preferred.
