Host/Hostess

Buen Apetito, a locally owned Mexican restaurant in Waterville, is looking for a friendly and reliable Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team.

As the first and last face our guests see, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for every visitor.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests with a positive attitude
• Manage reservations and walk-in waitlists
• Communicate table flow with servers and kitchen staff
• Answer phone calls and take basic questions or to-go orders
• Maintain a clean and inviting entrance and host stand
• Support with takeout packaging and light bussing when needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable standing and walking for long periods
• Friendly, calm, and professional under pressure
• Restaurant or hosting experience is required
• Weekend availability preferred
