We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service in the restaurant.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times effectively to guests.
• Provide menus and offer assistance with any questions regarding food and beverage options.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Assist in managing guest flow during peak hours to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
• A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills with a friendly demeanor to help address guest needs promptly.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
