Host/Hostess

This position is for Fridays and Saturdays for the summer season through Columbus Day . In addition to the hourly rate you will also make tips from take out service. We are looking for a Host/Hostess to join our team at an upscale casual restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry and be able to provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating them, answering phone calls, taking reservations, and managing the waitlist. The successful candidate will be friendly, organized, and have a positive attitude. Please apply in person Tuesday-Saturday between 1pm and 4pm. The door will be locked so please knock.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and seat them at their tables.
• Provide customers with menus and answer any initial questions they may have.
• Ensure that all guests are comfortable and taken care of throughout their meal.
• Manage the wait list, taking reservations and coordinating seating arrangements.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Ensure that the restaurant is clean and presentable at all times.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
