Role Overview
The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for a refined and welcoming dining experience. With a natural sense of hospitality and attention to detail, this role manages reservations, coordinates seating, and ensures the restaurant flow is organized, gracious, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities

Guest Welcome: Greets guests with warmth and professionalism, manages waiting lists, and escorts guests while ensuring a positive and lasting first impression.

Seating Coordination: Oversees reservations and table allocation to maintain a balanced service flow and optimize the dining room.

Guest Care: Anticipates guest needs, communicates preferences or special occasions to the service team, and supports a personalized experience.

Communication: Works closely with the floor team and management to ensure accurate updates on table readiness, reservations, and service priorities.

Presentation & Standards: Maintains an immaculate host stand and professional presence, reflecting the elegance expected in a fine dining environment.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar host/hostess or guest-facing role within fine dining or an upscale restaurant is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a naturally welcoming demeanor.

Strong organizational ability with confidence in managing reservations and guest flow.
