Front Desk Receptionist

The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring a positive first impression of the restaurant. The role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage table reservations and seating arrangements.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth guest flow.
  • Assist guests with special requests and provide information about menu offerings and promotions.
  • Handle customer feedback and escalate concerns to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.
  • Maintain the reception area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Record and update reservation details accurately.
  • Support restaurant operations during busy periods as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and customer service standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with reservation systems.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
