The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring a positive first impression of the restaurant. The role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage table reservations and seating arrangements.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth guest flow.
- Assist guests with special requests and provide information about menu offerings and promotions.
- Handle customer feedback and escalate concerns to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.
- Maintain the reception area in a clean and organized manner.
- Record and update reservation details accurately.
- Support restaurant operations during busy periods as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and customer service standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with reservation systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
