Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary

The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for delivering personalized, attentive, and memorable guest experiences that reflect the unique character and luxury standards of the boutique hotel. The role involves managing guest arrivals and departures, handling reservations, coordinating guest services, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional hospitality throughout their stay.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Hospitality

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a personalized arrival experience.
  • Perform seamless check-in and check-out procedures while maintaining boutique luxury service standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide tailored recommendations for dining, entertainment, shopping, and local attractions.
  • Build strong guest relationships and recognize repeat guests and VIP preferences.
  • Handle guest requests, concerns, and special requirements promptly and professionally.
  • Create memorable experiences by exceeding guest expectations whenever possible.

Front Office Operations

  • Manage room reservations, modifications, upgrades, and cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences within the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Coordinate room assignments in collaboration with Housekeeping to ensure readiness and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all guest registration and payment procedures comply with hotel policies.

Concierge & Guest Relations Support

  • Assist guests with transportation arrangements, restaurant reservations, tours, and special requests.
  • Coordinate special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoon amenities, and VIP arrivals.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding local experiences and attractions.

Communication & Coordination

  • Maintain effective communication with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Security, and Management.
  • Ensure smooth shift handovers and accurate communication of guest preferences and ongoing requests.
  • Respond to emails, telephone calls, and guest messages promptly and professionally.

Cashiering & Administrative Duties

  • Process payments, deposits, refunds, and foreign currency transactions accurately.
  • Balance cash floats and prepare daily cashier reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and payment details.

Quality & Brand Standards

  • Uphold the hotel's luxury service philosophy and boutique brand identity.
  • Ensure the reception and lobby areas remain immaculate, welcoming, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Gather guest feedback and communicate opportunities for service enhancement.

Health, Safety & Security

  • Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Protect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Report incidents, maintenance issues, or security concerns immediately.

Accommodation Provided

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
