We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team on weekends! This vital role is the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. As a weekend host or hostess, you will create a warm, welcoming atmosphere by managing reservations, greeting guests with enthusiasm, and coordinating seating arrangements efficiently. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Manage reservations and waitlists using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems accurately
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with clear, courteous communication, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
• Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area
• Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service flow during busy weekends

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service environments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest relations best practices
• Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and efficiently
• Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to remain energetic, organized, and attentive during busy weekend shifts
