Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host/Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will coordinate seating arrangements, take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide outstanding guest service that keeps visitors coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and guest relations while working in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and reduce wait times
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as CAKE, or SPOT ON
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality and guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout your shift
• Address guest inquiries with clear communication, providing menu suggestions and resolving concerns professionally
• Assist with guest check-out processes, including processing payments accurately via POS systems
• Support team members by coordinating service flow during busy hours to ensure seamless operations

Experience

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or Server in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Experience handling POS systems is advantageous
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services, serving techniques, and phone etiquette
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including reservation management and guest relations
• A passion for providing excellent customer service is essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $3.50 - $10.00 per hour
