Host/Server Assistant

Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient seating assistance
• Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Manage guest inquiries courteously, providing information about menu items and restaurant policies
• Help with food handling and safety procedures to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
• Contribute to a lively team environment focused on delivering exceptional guest services

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques
• Experience in bussing, or hospitality roles is a plus
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and bending
• Commitment to food safety practices and maintaining cleanliness standards in all duties

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
