Hotel Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hotel Accountant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will oversee all hotel revenue transactions, account settlement balances, and accounts receivable. validate and post invoices ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your expertise will support the financial health of our hotels by managing accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in reconciliation processes.
• Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.
• Maintain regulatory reporting standards for governmental agencies
• Skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX and regulatory reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• Experience with corporate accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Expertise in cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement .
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, formulas, and reports

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
