Hotel Bartender

Job Summary
Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Hotel Bartender, where you'll craft memorable experiences by serving expertly mixed drinks and providing exceptional customer service in a lively hotel environment. Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs efficiently.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to promote sales and enhance their overall experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
  • Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods while ensuring prompt service.

Experience

  • Previous experience working as a bartender in a hotel, fine dining restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
  • Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to all applicable food safety and alcohol service laws.
  • Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
  • Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing methods if applicable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods in hospitality or retail environments.
