Hotel Breakfast Attendant

Position Title: Breakfast Attendant / Laundry Attendant
Reports To: General Manager / Executive Housekeeper

Position Summary

The Breakfast Attendant / Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing guests with a clean, welcoming breakfast experience while ensuring hotel linens, towels, and laundry are properly cleaned, organized, and available for daily operations. This team member plays a vital role in guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness, food presentation, and exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBreakfast Attendant Duties

  • Set up and maintain the breakfast area according to brand standards.
  • Prepare and replenish food and beverage items throughout breakfast service.
  • Ensure all food items are fresh, stocked, and presented attractively.
  • Keep breakfast area clean, sanitized, and organized.
  • Wipe tables, clean counters, and remove trash regularly.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Provide friendly and professional guest service.
  • Break down and clean the breakfast area after service.
  • Complete all breakfast-related cleaning and preparation checklists.

Laundry Attendant Duties

  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items.
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report issues to management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laundry room.
  • Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
  • Deliver clean linens to designated storage areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures regarding chemicals and equipment.
  • Assist housekeeping team as needed to ensure room readiness.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with guests and team members.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Follow proper safety and security procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness and appearance of the property.

Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality, food service, housekeeping, or laundry experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and carry laundry bags, linen carts, and supply boxes up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Early mornings - 6AM-2PM

Pay: $16.50 per hour
