Position Title: Breakfast Attendant / Laundry Attendant
Reports To: General Manager / Executive Housekeeper
Position Summary
The Breakfast Attendant / Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing guests with a clean, welcoming breakfast experience while ensuring hotel linens, towels, and laundry are properly cleaned, organized, and available for daily operations. This team member plays a vital role in guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness, food presentation, and exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBreakfast Attendant Duties
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area according to brand standards.
- Prepare and replenish food and beverage items throughout breakfast service.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, stocked, and presented attractively.
- Keep breakfast area clean, sanitized, and organized.
- Wipe tables, clean counters, and remove trash regularly.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide friendly and professional guest service.
- Break down and clean the breakfast area after service.
- Complete all breakfast-related cleaning and preparation checklists.
Laundry Attendant Duties
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report issues to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry room.
- Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
- Deliver clean linens to designated storage areas.
- Follow all safety procedures regarding chemicals and equipment.
- Assist housekeeping team as needed to ensure room readiness.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with guests and team members.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Follow proper safety and security procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness and appearance of the property.
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, food service, housekeeping, or laundry experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and carry laundry bags, linen carts, and supply boxes up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Early mornings - 6AM-2PM
