Hotel Breakfast Server/Barista (Part Time) - AC Hotel Scottsdale Kierland

The AC Hotel Scottsdale at the Kierland Commons is hiring for Breakfast Servers/Baristas. We are currently looking for weekend coverage and are flexible with additional hours throughout the week. Our breakfast servers average between $16.00 to $18.00 per hour and are off by noon at the latest each day.

Starting base pay is $15.15/hour with additional tips/service charges based on hotel sales for the day.

* Must be a morning person with high energy. If you are often grumpy in the morning this is not the job for you.

* Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to be at work by 5:30am.

* Must have good customer service skills and be social in the mornings.

* Must be flexible and willing to roll with changes and new policies.

The shift in general... Come in and set up for breakfast. Making sure the breakfast area is clean, organized in order to be ready for a rush at all times. Then serving tables, greeting guests, executing orders, communicating with teammates, restocking, bussing, utilizing software and processing payments. Close of shift making sure that all of your tickets are closed, cleaning, mopping, restocking dishes and communicating with the F&B manager as to any other duties that need to be performed. And you're out of there by 11am most of the time with the full day ahead of you!

OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Breakfast Associate. The Breakfast hours are M-F 5:30am - 11am. Saturday and Sunday 7am - 11 am. This is a tipped position.

What will you be doing most days?

• Welcome guests and monitor the dining area during meal time to ensure adequate supplies, needs are met, and that the breakfast area supports the hotel’s overall hospitality image and objectives
• Plan breakfast menus according to brand recommendations and facility needs
• Prepare room set up and ensures cleanliness and working condition of equipment in the area
• Manage inventory of food and utensils
• Prepares daily breakfast menu of hot and cold breakfast foods
• Follow required sanitation procedures for food handling safety
• Respond promptly and appropriately to any guest questions or concerns
• Break down breakfast area at end of meal period, ensuring clean facility ready for next meal

• You obtain and maintain any food handling certificates that may apply

Physical Requirements for this Position

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
