The AM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast and grab-and-go menu items while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards. This position plays a key role in delivering a positive guest experience by ensuring breakfast offerings are fresh, well-presented, and served efficiently.


Daily responsibilities include preparing items such as eggs, sausage, egg & cheese biscuits, chorizo breakfast wraps, breakfast sandwiches, coffee beverages, cold brew, and other morning menu selections. The AM Line Cook is responsible for setting up and stocking workstations, monitoring food quality and inventory levels, following recipes and portion controls, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.


The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a fast-paced setting, has strong attention to detail, and demonstrates a commitment to food quality and guest satisfaction. Previous cooking or breakfast service experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.


Compensation:

$16 - $17 hourly


Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet hotel expectations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas.
  • Properly store, label, and rotate food products.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
  • Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing kitchen supplies.
  • Provide timely service to support an exceptional guest experience.

Schedule:

Morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, breakfast cook, or in a similar food service role preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
  • Ability to prepare multiple menu items efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
  • Ability to follow recipes, portion controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, with the ability to work early morning shifts.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must obtain and maintain any required food handler certifications in accordance with local regulations.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as business needs require.
