The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for generating corporate business for the hotel through proactive sales efforts, account management, and relationship-building with business clients. This role focuses on maximizing revenues from corporate accounts by promoting hotel rooms, meeting facilities, and other services.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development
- Proactively source, negotiate, and secure new corporate accounts to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the hotel's corporate customer base.
- Conduct regular sales calls, in-person visits, and client presentations.
- Identify and pursue sales leads through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of existing corporate clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor account performance and negotiate corporate rate agreements and contracts.
- Conduct regular account reviews and update sales strategies accordingly.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare and submit sales activity reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the Director of Sales.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify business opportunities.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the Revenue Management, Front Office, Reservations, and Event teams to ensure seamless service delivery to corporate clients.
- Participate in internal sales meetings, training sessions, and industry networking events.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in a corporate or B2B sales environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of corporate travel needs and the hotel industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM software, hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel locally for client visits and industry events.
