Hotel is located in Warrington, PA is seeking candidates for a full-time position. The candidate will be expected to work in a team environment, but will be on their own a majority of the time. During many shifts the candidate would be the manager on duty. Hilton PEP experience is preferred. Morning, nights, weekends, and holiday availability is a MUST when scheduled, as we are open 365 days a year and 24hrs a day. We are looking for someone who has flexibility and is responsive to the needs of the hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
-Responsible for greeting each and every guest as they enter and exit the building
-Responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel
-Responsible for answering phones and transferring calls to the appropriate hotel department when necessary
-Responsible for booking/modifying reservations for guests
-Answer various questions from guest in a pleasant manner
-Respond effectively to guest complaints and provide excellent customer service to hotel guests
-Complete in full a daily front desk checklist
-Run various reports on the Front Desk System for management
-Deliver items to guest rooms
-Lift and organize packages for guests and also hotel inventory orders
-May be asked to perform duties in other areas of the hotel when short staffed
-Refill coffee canisters and bake cookies when required
-Responsible for maintaining cash drawer contents and making change for guests
-Responsible for completing all required training in a prompt manner as assigned by management
-Maintaining a clean and professional workspace
-Prepare bags for event groups
-Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
-Must have reliable transportation to/from the hotels
-Must be able to work weekends when required
-Must arrive on time for scheduled shift to relieve previous shift
-Must be able to understand and carry out instructions
-Must be able to lift 20 pounds
-Must be able to maintain a professional manner in stressful situations
-Must be able to communicate on the phone and in person and answer questions from guests in a prompt manner
-Must be able to use math skills to calculate appropriate change to guests
-Must be able to work a full shift with no break
-Must answer phone calls from management promptly when off property
-Must have experience in customer service and preferably hotel experience
-Must possess a positive and upbeat personality and maintain a courteous attitude with co-workers and guests
-Must wear hotel provided uniform and adhere to requirements on appropriate work attire
