Aiken Midtown Hotel is seeking a reliable and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a positive first impression for guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day front desk operations.
We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Process payments and manage cashless transactions
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems (PMS)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Schedule & Availability
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Morning, evening, and occasional night audit coverage may be required
