Hotel Front Desk Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily front office operations to ensure outstanding guest service in line with brand standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of hospitality management. This role is vital in ensuring guest satisfaction, managing front desk staff, and maintaining the smooth functioning of guest services.

The Front Desk Supervisor will play a key role in fostering guest relations, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding hospitality experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest inquiries
  • Lead and train front desk staff to ensure high standards of customer service and professionalism
  • Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using multi-line phone systems
  • Oversee night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and account reconciliation
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
  • Maintain phone etiquette and ensure effective communication with guests via phone and in person
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and billing procedures
  • Monitor front desk activities to ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures
  • Assist in managing guest relations to enhance overall guest experience
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience

  • 2 + years of proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
  • Strong background in customer service within a hotel setting
  • Bilingual skills are preferred to serve a diverse clientele effectively
  • Experience with night audit procedures is a plus
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a hospitality environment is highly desirable

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
