Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Care for floors using appropriate cleaning methods for carpets, tiles, hardwoods, or other flooring types to ensure safety and visual appeal.
• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently to meet operational needs.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Support housekeeping management in inventory control and maintaining cleanliness logs for accountability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services; hotel experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and standards for guest service excellence.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or cleaning equipment.
