Job Summary:

The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment in guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures that all rooms meet the brand’s cleanliness standards and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to IHG/brand standards
  • Make beds, change linens, clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and replenish amenities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items such as towels or toiletries
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage, or lost & found items to the appropriate department
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas
  • Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms and information
  • Work closely with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Adhere to time standards for room cleaning and productivity goals

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, kneel, push, and stand for long periods

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs frequently
  • Ability to stand and move continuously during shift
  • Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
