Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
• Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, and applying appropriate cleaning techniques suitable for different surfaces
• Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to ensure timely repairs

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or similar environments
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service expectations
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks when required with efficiency and safety consciousness
• Excellent custodial skills with attention to detail and consistency in cleanliness standards
• Effective time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
• Experience in housekeeping management is a plus for supervisory or lead roles
