Housekeeper & Nanny (Part-Time) – Busy Family Household

Location: Vancouver WA (FelIda area)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00–9:00 AM and 4:00–7:00 PM (Approx. 25 hours/week)

About the Role

We are a busy, professional family seeking a reliable, organized, and caring individual to support our household and help care for our two children (ages 13 and 11). This is a long-term, part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys both housekeeping and working with older children.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Duties:

• Daily tidying and organization of living spaces
• Kitchen cleaning, dishes, and light deep cleaning as needed
• Laundry (washing, folding, putting away)
• Maintaining a clean and orderly home environment

Meal Preparation:

• Prepare simple, healthy meals (breakfast and dinner)
• Ability to follow recipes (vegetarian meals a plus, if applicable)
• Light grocery organization or meal prep support

Childcare & Support:

• Supervise and engage with two school-aged children (ages 13 and 11)
• Drive children to and from after-school activities
• Help keep kids on schedule (homework, activities, routines)
• Plan light activities or engage in conversation/play as appropriate for their age

Requirements

• Prior experience in housekeeping and/or nannying
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Non-smoker
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks independently
• Warm, responsible, and trustworthy personality
• Strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with older children (pre-teens/teens)
• Comfortable with driving, cooking and meal prep
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
