Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. Weekends are required as well. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and cleanliness, with an emphasis on attention to detail and efficiency.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
• Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities.
• Clean common areas of the hotel including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic hotel setting.
