Hotel Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during cleaning tasks.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed to maintain a safe environment for residents or guests.
• Assist with cooking or meal preparation when required, ensuring kitchen areas are clean and organized.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement best practices in cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Experience in housekeeping management is advantageous but not mandatory.
