Hotel Housekeeper

CityFlatsHotel in downtown Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Attendant. Responsibilities include stripping and making beds, dusting, sweeping, trash removal, mopping, and more. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude that has the ability to work with a team or by themselves. We are happy to train the right person for the position! Weekend availability is a must. Sunday availability required.

Additional duties:

• Fold laundry during peak times when necessary
• Adhere to procedure and ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to department standards
• Protect equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies
• Exercise tact and discretion when dealing with guests, and guests’ property
• Report any damages, shortcomings, and disturbances to supervisors
• Check and maintain stock levels
• Assist with public areas as needed
• Comply with all rules regarding health and safety of guests and coworkers
• Assist with training new housekeepers as needed
• Deep Cleaning
• Other Duties as they are assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
