Hotel Houseman

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an understanding of housekeeping management practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of common areas of the hotel, including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, taking our garbage
• Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Strip linens for housekeepers before they begin cleaning rooms
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and dining spaces as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and housekeeping management practices.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service in a hotel environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
