Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where your keen eye for cleanliness and efficiency will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of comfort and freshness. A Hotel Laundry Attendant ensures all hotel linens, towels, and uniforms are cleaned, sanitized, and prepared to brand standards, typically reporting to the housekeeping department. The role involves operating commercial washers/dryers, sorting, folding, treating stains, and maintaining inventory, requiring physical stamina for continuous standing and lifting up to 40-50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Laundry Operations: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens, towels, and staff uniforms efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain commercial washers and dryers, including cleaning lint traps and filters after each load to prevent fire hazards.
- Quality Control: Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and manage the linen discard log.
- Inventory & Supplies: Maintain adequate inventory of clean linens and monitor chemical levels for cleaning machinery.
- Housekeeping Support: Assist with distributing clean linens to floor closets and support the housekeeping team with, at times, cross-functional duties.
- Safety & Sanitation: Adhere to all safety, chemical handling, and sanitation policies, keeping the laundry area clean and organized

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move heavy loads (typically up to 40-50 lbs).
- Details: Strong attention to detail, specifically for spotting stains and maintaining folding standards.
- Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
