The Microtel Inn & Suites in Johnstown, NY is hiring people with all of the above as we gear up for what we have forecasted as a busier than usual summer season. We are proud of the workplace culture that we have established and would like to keep growing with our staff as we prove we have the best hotel in the area. We love experience but untapped potential with a strong drive to succeed is all that is needed here.

Microtel Inn & Suites, Johnstown is seeking a determined individual with a strong work ethic, who can bring a positive energy with them. Must be able to follow directions and be willing to work as a team player. Although this is a structured environment, it is also a relaxed, fun atmosphere, to work in. Experience does not matter if you are willing to learn.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by offering friendly and attentive service to everyone.
• Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently and courteously.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, and co-workers.
• Comply to all security standards for guests, employees and the property.
• Set up breakfast area and prepare food for our complimentary breakfast. Responsible for maintaining an appropriate amount of food.
• Assist with laundry; sorting, washing, drying, and folding bed linens and towels.
• Perform all other duties assigned.

• ATTENDANCE - Must show up for scheduled shifts.
• ABILITY - Must have a willingness to learn (We will teach you what you need to know)

CANDIDATE MUST BE AVAILABLE AND DEPENDABLE IN MEETING A WORK SCHEDULE. This includes nights, weekends and/or holidays. '

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
