Hotel Maintenace

The upkeep of a property’s physical structure, grounds, and mechanical systems. The role requires conducting preventative maintenance, executing general repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry), and responding swiftly to guest and staff work orders to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

• Preventative Maintenance: Routinely inspect and service building equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns and extend the lifespan of hotel assets.
• Guest & Staff Requests: Respond promptly to "work orders" for issues like leaking faucets, broken light fixtures, TV malfunctions, or jammed door locks.
• General Repairs: Perform basic trade jobs including drywall patching, painting, carpentry, and minor plumbing or electrical work.
• Safety & Security Compliance: Conduct daily checks on life-safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, alarm systems) and ensure compliance with local building codes.
• Exterior & Grounds Upkeep: Assist with pool maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, or exterior power washing as needed.
• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in general maintenance, building engineering, or trade-specific work.
• Technical Skills: Basic mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills. Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, and drywall repair.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, climb ladders, and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Communication: Ability to log completed tasks, prioritize urgent issues, and deliver excellent customer service when interacting with guests.
• The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, service and. repair of equipment as assigned

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
