We’re currently seeking a hands-on, reliable, and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help us keep our hotel running smoothly every day.

Position Summary:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the property’s physical integrity, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable experience for our guests and staff. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can perform a wide range of general repairs and maintenance duties with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and hotel equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances
• Respond promptly to guest requests and service tickets, ensuring timely and professional resolution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and mechanical rooms
• Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Work closely with the housekeeping and front desk teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and local safety codes and hotel policies
• Assist with seasonal projects, snow removal, painting, and general upkeep of the building exterior

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in hotel or facility maintenance preferred (1-3 years minimum)
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional guest service
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must possess or aquire the following certifications within the probationary period of employment: S95 and S93

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
