Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment including scissor lifts, hydraulic systems, and industrial machinery within the hotel premises.
- Conduct repairs involving welding (including <LOCATION> welding), electrical wiring (low voltage and high voltage), and mechanical components to uphold safety standards.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to log work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future inspections.
- Assist with field service tasks related to manufacturing facility equipment or hotel-specific machinery as needed.
- Support emergency repairs or urgent maintenance requests promptly to minimize guest disruption.
- Follow safety protocols diligently when working with high-voltage systems or in confined spaces.
- Collaborate with vendors or technical sales representatives for parts procurement or specialized service requirements.
- Maintain detailed schematics and technical documentation for all systems serviced or installed.
Skills
- Extensive industrial mechanic experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing facility operations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems and related maintenance practices.
- Skilled in welding techniques including <LOCATION> welding for structural repairs or custom fabrications.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management tasks.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English to liaise effectively with team members and vendors.
- Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely in compliance with safety standards.
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and high voltage safety procedures.
- Experience in industrial electrician work within manufacturing or large facilities is highly desirable.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
