Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and industrial machinery using schematics and precision measuring instruments.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as scissor lifts, industrial welders (including <LOCATION> welding), ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers to ensure safety and compliance.
• Manage work orders efficiently using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and schedule repairs proactively.
• Perform electrical work involving high voltage and low voltage systems while adhering to safety standards; conduct analysis of electrical circuits for fault detection.
• Assist with field service tasks by responding promptly to maintenance requests from various hotel departments or external vendors.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, schematics updates, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial mechanic work within manufacturing facilities or large-scale hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring (including high voltage), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and schematics interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate a scissor lift safely and perform welding tasks with expertise in <LOCATION> welding techniques.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for accurate diagnostics.
• Excellent analysis skills combined with a customer service mindset to address guest or staff concerns effectively.
• Industrial electrician experience or industrial mechanic background preferred; military experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills are advantageous for diverse team communication.
• Valid certifications in HVAC/R, welding, or electrical work are preferred; ability to work independently in field service roles is essential.
