Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding, and residential painting to ensure minimal downtime.
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately.
- Manage facilities maintenance tasks including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) updates, repairs, and documentation.
- Supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with vendors or contractors, and oversee safety protocols during repairs or installations.
- Lead small teams or supervise other maintenance staff in daily operations, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality service.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, schematics, and equipment logs for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential setting; supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, PLCs, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems, plumbing, welding techniques, and residential painting.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
- Ability to read technical schematics and diagrams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and vendors clearly.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
