Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and structural systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, including the use of schematics, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Conduct welding and residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the property's appearance and safety standards.
• Read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to diagnose problems accurately.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory management.
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including supervising team members or contractors when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards while performing repairs or installations.
• Lead small teams during maintenance projects, demonstrating leadership skills while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, PLCs, and troubleshooting electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters.
• Mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems, plumbing, welding techniques, and general building repairs.
• Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred.
• Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors.
• Residential painting skills are a plus for property aesthetic upkeep.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to facilities maintenance operations.
