Hotel Maintenance Engineer (Weekends- PM Shift)

$18 Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
• Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment
• Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments
• Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
• Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines

• Complete repair tasks as assigned by management and fulfill guest requests in guestrooms and/or public areas of the hotel
• Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Address guests’ queries (e.g., on additional services)
• Follow hotel security guidelines

Qualifications:

• Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
• Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
• 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
• This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Experience:

• HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical Knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Skills

• Previous hotel experience is a plus
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, wall repair, hanging vinyl, painting, etc.
• Ability to complete the physical requirements of the job
• Flexibility to work any days, including weekends
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions
