Hotel Maintenance Technician - Temporary Position

We are currently seeking an honest, hardworking, and proactive General Worker / Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis for approximately 6–8 weeks starting immediately while our regular Maintenance Technician is on leave. This is a hands-on position for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and professionally
• Reprogram guest room TVs and assist with technology-related issues
• Complete minor electrical work, including installing LED strips and repairing PTAC/thermostat connections
• Use volt readers and diagnostic tools safely and effectively
• Perform basic plumbing repairs and general maintenance tasks
• Assist with PTAC-related troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work closely with other departments to ensure excellent guest satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel maintenance experience not required
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills required
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Experience using a volt reader/multimeter
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Honest, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Must be able to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical work as needed
• Must be able to communicate in English: writing and speaking.

Compensation:

• Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience
