Maintenance Person

Overview

Fairfield Inn & Suites is currently hiring for a Maintenance/Houseman for PM shift.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Maintenance Person are as follows:
Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to the hotel, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical. Ensure requested service orders are completed on a timely basis.

• Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times.
• Set up and maintain meeting rooms.
• Deliver supplies or other needs to guest rooms
• Assist with guest maintenance requests
• Preventitive maintenance on guest rooms.
• Assist with housekeeping needs as needed.
• Assist with laundry operations.
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
• Additional duties as assigned.

The experience requirements are as follows: A minimum of 1 year of related experience is prefered.

• General maintenance skills are required.
• Focus towards guest service.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and deliver a solution.
• Ability to read & understand technical documents is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
