Hotel Night Auditor

Responsibilities

• Manage overnight front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries with courtesy and professionalism.
• Perform nightly audit procedures, reconciling room revenue, payments, and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel standards.
• Address guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situations promptly and effectively to maintain a positive guest experience.
• Maintain hotel security by monitoring property activity, conducting routine inspections, and following established safety procedures.
• Answer and direct incoming calls using professional phone etiquette while assisting guests and prospective customers.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports summarizing occupancy, revenue, guest activity, and other operational information for management review.
• Support guest satisfaction initiatives by providing local recommendations, assisting with special requests, and ensuring a welcoming environment throughout the night.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel operations, front desk, guest services, or night audit preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and night audit processes.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and financial reconciliations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining a high level of professionalism and guest service.
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality best practices is preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
