Role Description

We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Istanbul Old City, located in Fatih, Istanbul. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for directing all aspects of daily hotel operations, ensuring superior guest satisfaction, and driving overall operational success.


The Hotel Operations Manager will:

• Oversee guest services and coordinate seamlessly across departments—including Front Office, Housekeeping, Technical Staff and Food & Beverage.

• Lead staff training and development programs to uphold service excellence.

• Implement strategies that enhance efficiency, quality, and financial performance.

• Report directly to the Board, playing a key role in shaping operational direction and maintaining brand alignment.


Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a General Manager or Operations Manager in an hotel with strong guest satisfaction, preferably within an IHG, an Accor or a Marriott Hotel

• Strong focus on Customer Service and Guest Satisfaction

• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills

• Experience in Self / Staff Training and Development

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Quarterly Heartbeat Survey Analysis: Measure and improve employee engagement to build a motivated, high-performing team.

• Online Reputation Management: Monitor, maintain, and elevate guest reviews across IHG Heartbeat, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) and platforms such as Google and TripAdvisor.

• Staff Development & Retention: Drive continuous education and professional growth initiatives to enhance performance and reduce turnover.
