What You ll Do
Respond promptly to telephone and email reservation requests, confirming details in line with hotel standards.
Check room and rate availability and accept or decline bookings based on capacity.
Review next-day reservations for accuracy, ensuring all guest details and special requests are in place.
Maintain full knowledge of all room types, rates, amenities, and hotel facilities.
Record and verify vouchers or guarantee letters, following up to ensure receipt before guest arrival.
Monitor email correspondence and ensure all booking data is complete and accurate.
Stay updated on current rates, special packages, and promotions.
Apply standardized wording in reservation notes and communicate updates to relevant departments.
Assist the Front Office as a Guest Service Agent when required, including handling cash floats.
Ensure guest registration cards are accurately completed and profiles updated in the PMS.
Seek approval from management for any rebates or discounts related to guest disputes.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the department head.
Ideal Profile
Previous hotel reservations and front office experience.
Familiarity with Hotel PMS systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
