This role works closely with the General Manager, Director of Sales (if applicable), Revenue Management, and Operations to ensure strong conversion, clean execution, and repeat business.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Account Management

  • Conduct site tours, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts within brand and ownership guidelines
  • Maintain accurate account information, activities, and forecasts in brand-required systems

Market & Community Engagement

  • Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and community functions
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses, meeting planners, and community partners
  • Stay informed on competitive set activity and local market trends

  • Partner with Operations to ensure smooth group execution and guest satisfaction
  • Work closely with Revenue Management on pricing, need periods, and demand strategies
  • Participate in weekly sales, revenue, and forecast meetings

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience (full-service preferred)
  • Proven ability to prospect, close, and manage accounts
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

  • Opportunity to sell a strong, recognizable brand in a prime Houston location
  • Direct visibility with hotel leadership and ownership
  • Supportive, performance-driven culture with room for growth

Why This Role

This is an opportunity for a motivated Sales Manager to make an immediate impact at a high-profile hotel, develop meaningful client relationships, and grow within a full-service environment that values results, accountability, and collaboration.
