Responsibilities

• Take and accurately process orders using POS systems
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Provide attentive customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cashiering responsibilities during busy shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, especially during banquet or catering events.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and monitor guest consumption to promote a safe environment.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders seamlessly during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences.
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred to handle diverse service environments confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and retail math calculations accurately.
• Previous restaurant experience or banquet/catering background is highly desirable to excel in this role.
