Job Description:
We are seeking world-class Houdini animators specializing in natural phenomena simulations such as water, fire, smoke, and lava. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to create hyper-realistic, dynamic simulations for high-profile visual projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver realistic natural effects simulations (fire, water, lava, smoke, explosions, etc.) using Houdini
• Collaborate with the creative team to align visuals with project requirements
• Optimize simulations for performance and production output
• Implement feedback and deliver revisions on schedule

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Houdini artist/animator
• Strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing realistic natural phenomena simulations
• Expertise in procedural workflows within Houdini
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Experience in film, VFX, or large-scale projection mapping projects
• Knowledge of rendering and compositing pipelines

Compensation:

• Flat rate – negotiable depending on experience and project scope
