House Cleaner

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens with care and attention to detail
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various flooring types to keep surfaces looking their best
• Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas effectively
• Provide excellent customer service by respecting clients’ privacy and preferences while delivering top-quality cleaning services
• Manage custodial responsibilities such as waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all areas meet health standards
• Assist with light cooking or meal prep if required, ensuring safety and hygiene protocols are followed in the kitchen

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial work; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, steam mops, and buffers confidently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Basic laundry skills including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
• Familiarity with housekeeper management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
