Job Summary:
The House Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals served. This role includes coordinating appointments and outings, managing staff, and maintaining a structured and supportive environment for clients with disabilities and high behavioral needs. This individual must have experience with clients that have disabilities and high behaviors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison, advocate, and coordinator for consumers, ensuring their involvement in support groups, community activities, recreation, and skill-building.
- Adhere to all GCS policies and procedures.
- Foster open and supportive communication with consumers, staff, guardians, the administrative team, and community partners.
- Oversee all consumer medical, medication, and health-related needs.
- Communicate medical and health information effectively to staff, agency nurses, families, and other relevant parties.
- Maintain and update required documentation and logs as needed.
- Manage staff schedules using E-Web, report changes promptly to the scheduling/administrative team.
- Provide coverage for shifts when necessary to ensure adequate staffing and continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have prior House Manager experience working with individuals with disabilities and high behavioral needs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ohio Drivers license and auto insurance is required.
- Must have vehicle.
- Must be willing to cover shifts when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Working with individuals with developmental disabilities: 3 years (Preferred)
- Management: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Ohio Drivers License (Required)
