About Our Family:

We are a busy, close-knit family currently living in downtown Kansas City. One partner takes the lead on childcare and works part-time from home, while the other manages multiple practices and frequently travels for work. Our sweet daughter is almost two, and we're excited to welcome a baby boy at the end of July. We're also in the process of building a new home in Mission Hills, with plans to move at the end of this year.

As our family grows and both our personal and professional lives demand more attention, we deeply value trust, reliability, and strong organizational skills. We're looking for someone to help keep things running smoothly, allowing us to focus on what matters most—spending quality time together as a family.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a reliable, high-energy, and trustworthy House Manager & Family Assistant who can provide hands-on support with both household responsibilities and some light childcare as needed. The ideal candidate will have a warm, maternal personality, enjoy being around kids, and confident handling household management tasks. You'll be a key partner in our family's daily life, assisting with everything from light supervision of the kids to keeping the home tidy and organized, ensuring tasks like laundry and meal prep run smoothly.

Clear communication and flexibility are essential. We need someone who goes above and beyond to maintain an organized home, is proactive, self-sufficient, and capable of managing tasks independently, while knowing when to seek guidance. If you're also open to providing occasional backup childcare for evenings or weekends—whether for events or date nights—we'd love to meet you!

Ideal Traits & Skills:

  • Trustworthy & Reliable: You should have an impeccable track record for reliability, as we are especially focused on ensuring the right person is part of our home and family life.
  • Maternal, High-Energy Personality: We're looking for someone who can engage with our kids in a loving and energetic way.
  • Proactive & Independent: You can anticipate needs and take initiative in managing the home with minimal direction.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: You naturally excel at keeping things organized, from laundry routines to pantry management, ensuring our household runs smoothly.
  • Strong Communication: We value clear and consistent communication, with regular updates on tasks and the ability to adapt to changes in plans well in advance.
