Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic House Person to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our hotel or facility. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces throughout the property
• Assist with janitorial tasks such as waste removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring restrooms are clean and well-stocked
• Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues, replenishing amenities, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Maintain industrial cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring all tools are used safely and stored properly after use
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently while adhering to health and safety standards
• Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring all areas are tidy, organized, and inviting for guests and staff

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet extraction
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest service expectations
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and industrial equipment safely and effectively
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
